Is anyone out there?????

Here are the three cards we are creating in class this week. I am trying to decide whether to continue with my blog or not and I'm hoping that anyone reading this will give me their feedback. I post photos of all my  cards on Facebook but I know there are quite a few people who don't have a Facebook account and look for them here instead. It's quite time consuming to keep up with both and as I very rarely get feedback on my blog posts, I'm considering trying to post photos of the cards on the web page instead. If you would rather not leave a comment here, please let me know your thoughts on this by e-mail, phone or of course in person. Just a reminder too, that I will no longer be sending out a monthly e-newsletter, so please check the news and events page of the website for updates. Thanks for checking in and I look forward to hearing from you.

Open this Saturday!

Just letting you know that the shop is open this Saturday February 22nd from 10 till 4, so if you've been working weekdays and/or haven't had a chance to stop in yet, I'd love for you to stop in and say hi.
There is a class running from 1-4 so there will be more cars parked here than usual but there is plenty of street parking. Hope to see you soon!

Northern lights

Just thought I'd share my first attempt at the "Northern Lights" technique I found on the Splitcoast Stampers website. Fun and easy to do (if you like getting inky fingers:).) I think I'll make a few of these to have on hand for "all occasion" cards. There's a really good tutorial including a video at www.splitcoaststampers.com for anyone who wants to give it a try. I'd love to see what you come up with!

Kinda Krafty

Next weeks class is all about Kraft cardstock, white embossing and watercolouring with distress stains. Bring your own water brush if you have one.

New website!

Woo-whoo ... the new website is finally on-line. Same address so if you type it in and the old site still shows you'll need to clear the cache and delete cookies on your browser to view it. Yes I know that sounds as if I know what I'm talking about, but trust me ... I am CLUELESS... I had to get detailed instructions on how to do it...lol!  I'll be making some changes and additions to the site along the way, but I'd love to hear what you think of the new design. The big advantage for me is that I can make changes myself which I was unable to do with the original website. No more e-newsletters, they will appear on the news and events page, so please check in regularly!
