As soon as I saw these stamps I knew I had to have them. I made cards using this set for three very special friends and then decided they would make a cute class card too!
The pink card was inspired by a very similar one I saw on-line. I rarely copy cards but this one is pretty close to the original.
I discovered a new technique for creating an interesting background recently. You simply scrunch a piece of waxed paper into a ball, dab it onto a Versamark ink pad and lightly "pounce" it over your cardstock. Then sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat emboss. Once the embossing has cooled, you can sponge inks over top and the embossing "resists" the ink, creating a very pretty background piece. I used Squeezed Lemonade and Ripe Persimmon distress inks here. The sentiment is a peel off sticker and the black pearls were made with a Viva pearl pen. I tried this "resist" technique with copper embossing powder on black cardstock which gives a very dramatic effect.
