Design Team Inspiration

Thought it was time I shared some of the projects made by my much appreciated design team. These projects have been on display in the store for a few weeks already but other than Lynne's Scrapbook page, I didn't get around to photographing any of them yet. It has been a very quiet day in the store today so I'm trying to catch up on a few things. Here a are a couple of very cute cards from Karen, who made great use of the Echo Park Valentine collection and the Martha Stewart heart punch.

I love those little folded hearts don't you?

Next is an adorable card from Linda. You have probably noticed lots of her fabulous watercolour creations around the store. Linda uses distress inks to achieve this wonderful effect and there are plenty of other examples of her talent on display at the store.

Isn't that a great way to use a border punch?

Pat created this fabulous card using one of my favourite papers from an older line called Vintage Valentine from Fancy Pants. I made a ton of projects with this paper when it was first released and I'm still tempted by it every time I walk past the shelf...lol! Look at the fabulous detail in those die cut frames from Spellbinders. The dimension of the popped up layers and those beautiful rolled roses (MFT die) makes this a very special card...even more so because unfortunately, Pat needs to step back from the DT as her other commitments are keeping her super busy. She still finds time to bring in her fabulous crocheted flowers and hearts and share her ideas and tips though ......thanks so much Pat:)

Danielle has been busy using her Silhouette Cameo electronic die cutting machine. She whipped up 4 fabulous Valentine projects in record time. She told me little xoxoxo card took less than 5 mins to make.

These darling gift bags can be made in different sizes using the Cameo. Those little wood veneer feathers from Studio Calico can be coloured with alcohol markers or heat embossed. There are other shapes available in the store and they make really unique embellishments.

And finally this cute tag is just packed with detail, including that delicate little string heart which was cut from POW glitter paper. This specialty paper cuts like a dream on the Cameo or the Cricut for those of you who have one.

Hope you enjoyed all the inspiration.
