Playing with leaves again...

OK! I admit it....I'm obsessed with this leafy paper from Imaginesce's Apple Cider Collection. Here's yet another card using the cut out leaves to make a wreath design. I have to thank Danielle for this idea. She showed me a card on scrapbook.com with a similar wreath made with this paper. Then I saw a sketch challenge on Splitcoast Stampers that worked for this kind of image, so I thought I'd give it a go. I don't think my class ladies would like the idea of cutting out all those little leaves, so this one was just for fun. I tried out the clear rock candy crackle paint on the acorn and although it doesn't show up well on the photo, it looks very cool in real life. Guess what we'll be using in next week's class girls? I may a bit late uploading samples as I'm away for the weekend, but hopefully there will be something by Monday evening. Have a wonderful weekend:)

  1. Marie, the card looks fabulous!!!!!! I think it was worth cutting all the leaves! I'm going to do a scrapbook page with the same technique
