I treated myself to a copy of the latest issue of "Paper Creations " magazine the other day. Mostly because the card on the cover really caught my eye. I've never used these colours together before so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I didn't have all the same items (ribbon etc)as the card I was copying, but I improvised and I'm really pleased with the result. Many of you know that I rarely, if ever, copy a card made by someone else. Sometimes I start out copying but it ends up looking very different from the original, because I get a different idea as I'm working on it. This one is an exception. If I had all the same materials it would have been an exact replica! I used the black Viva pearl pen for the spots on the ladybug and they look so shiny and cool! If I did it again I would use the dotted swiss paper for the white background...I didn't notice that it was used on the original card until I was finished. Just thought I'd share it with you. it's a very cute card, marie; i think i like the twine better than the ribbon on the original.
